Our Story

Inspiration for our story and logo comes from Harmala

Inspiration for our story and logo comes from Harmala, known in the West as Peleganum Harmala. It was considered as a sacred healing plant in the Central Asian Turkic Tradition for centuries. It holds an important place in the Turkic culture. It has been hung in homes and believed to bring health, happiness, and prosperity among the people from ancient times to the present days. It has been burned due to its pleasant smoke and has been used by physicians in the treatment of various diseases.

Peleganum Harmala is mentioned as a healing herb in the greatest epic of the Turks, “The Epic of Oğuz Kaan”, in the first Turkish dictionary in history written by Kaşgarlı Mahmud “Dîvânu Lugâti't-Türk” and in the stories of Dede Korkut, the great storyteller of the Turks, is still present in Central Asia. It continues to be seen as a healing plant due to its healing and therapeutic properties.
